OFSTED Reports
Our last two full OFSTED inspections were in January 2007 and September 2009. In both cases, inspectors praised the work of the school, identifying our practice as good or outstanding. Under the current OFSTED arrangements for inspection, the school can expect a gap of five years between inspections. The latest inspection report can be found here

Latest OFSTED Visit
Ofsted 2010 ̶ 2011 survey inspection programme for Assessing Pupil Progress.
Jim Sage visited Thomas Keble on 22nd September 2010 to evaluate the impact of the assessing pupils’ progress (APP) initiative as part of the Ofsted 2010 ̶ 2011 survey inspection programme for APP.
The visit provided Ofsted with valuable information which has contributed to their national evaluation and reporting. The visit focused primarily on English and mathematics. The evidence used to inform the judgements included: scrutiny of documentation; observations of teaching and learning; and discussions with senior leaders, other staff, the local authority adviser for mathematics and students.
As a result of his visit the grading given ‘to the overall use of assessment to support learning’ in the school was outstanding.
